PowerSchool is an online portal that enables parents to access student information about their child’s academic progress.
It is a secure site that enables schools and teachers to post information online without compromising privacy or security. You can be assured that private information about your child will only be accessible to you. It is imperative that you keep your screen name and password private. |

SINGLE SIGN-ON STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS
PowerSchool’s parent single sign-on feature enables parents to create their own account, choosing the username and password, and then assigning each of their child(ren) to the parent’s account.
To create a single sign-on account:
1. Open the internet browser on your computer
2. Type https://tlgmi.powerschool.com into the address bar
3. Click on the “Create Account”.
4. The first section on the new page, Create Parent Account, requires parents to enter the following information necessary to establish your new parent/guardian account: your first and last name, the email address you wish to use to receive communications from PowerSchool; and a unique username and password with which you will use to login to PowerSchool. Re-enter the password to ensure you did not mistype it the first time.
5. The second section on this page, Link Students to Account, requires you to enter the following information for at least one student: student’s name (be certain to type the student name as shown above), access ID and password (provided below) and your relationship to the student. The password is case-sensitive. Be sure to enter the access ID and password exactly as provided to you or you will receive an invalid information error.
6. After you have completed creating an account you will be taken back to the Parent Sign In web page.
7. Log in to PowerSchool using your newly created username and password.
8. View the information.
9. Remember to log off when you are finished.
You may track academic progress from any location that has internet access.
Please keep your password confidential so only you can access the information. The Grades and Attendance tab will allow you to check assignments and scores by clicking on the blue percentage across from a class.
To email the teacher a question or concern, please click the blue teacher's name link. The Grades History tab will show you the grades your child received in previous grading periods. The Teacher Comments tab is used to access current teacher comments for your student.
